Please read the following 'before' continuing so that all questions are
answered before you email about a kitten. Thank You!
A Few Tips For Picking the Right Kitten:
- Most people that have asked about kittens displayed for
adoption have wanted a certain color and have asked about cats that fit the
'look' they wanted instead of the temperament that they want. Although I
have no problem with a person wanting a pointed cat instead of a black, or a
calico instead of a striped, make sure that this is not the most important
thing when picking out your kitten!
- Plan to get your kitten when you will be home and when
the house will be at it's normal level of noise and people. Don't get a cat
right before a holiday or for a birthday party. Do not get a cat as a
surprise present either.

- Read over multiple cat descriptions before asking for
more information about them.
- Plan on your kitten acting odd as he/she adjusts on
his/her first day.
What your new kitten will come with:
- Each cat will come with a small photo album with baby
pictures if available. :) A photo of the mother can also be provided if requested
(and available). The
photo album and photos are free. We include the best photos of the kitten we
have, which may be up to 30 photos.
- Vaccinations
- Cats under 5 months receive first: Eclipse 4 (Feline
Rhinotracheitis, Calici, Panleukopemia, Chamydia Psittaci Vaccinations) and
FeLV (Feline Leukemia).
- Cats over 5 months receive: Eclipse 4 (Feline
Rhinotracheitis, Calici, Panleukopemia, Chamydia Psittaci Vaccinations),
FeLV (Feline Leukemia), and Rabies Vaccination.
- Spayed or Neutered
- Dewormed
- All cats come with one month of Advantage flea
prevention.
- Vet information/proof of vaccinations.
- If there are any other things you'd like done before
adoption then we could probably get it done as long as money is sent at time
for vaccinations and fixing. (Example: more flea/tick control)
What you will need for your new kitten:
- toys, I recommend toy mice and catnip, although not all
cats like catnip.
- basic stuff like food/water/bowls
- Litter and litter box. I recommend one of the clumping
litters with baking soda and a litter box with a cover.
- A scratching post is very important!
- ID. A tag and collar works for some cats, but
microchipping works best because cats can easily get out of collars or may
get stuck on something. Usually microchipping isn't terribly expensive, so
you might want to look into that. :) I can microchip before adoption, email
me for pricing.
- And most importantly.... knowledge! Check out these other
WebPages (which are not my own but contain useful information).
How do I get my new kitten?
- Meeting Halfway: If you want to meet halfway, we will pay
for gas for us to drive up to 3 hours or halfway, although you could
help pay for gas. I'll leave that up to you.
- Coming Here: If you want to come most of the way to us,
then we can pick a convenient place to meet. :)
- Coming to You: If you can not meet us halfway or drive to
us, then we can drive up to 3 hours without gas money and you an pay rest.
Will drive up to 5 hours for one kitten.
- If you aren't sure if you can meet half way or come here,
then email anyway and we might be able to work something out...
- It will probably be 1 to 2 weeks 'till you get your
kitten depending on the kitten
and time of year.
Total Pricing
- Total Price:
- If you adopt a second kitten, the
price is a total of $150.
Please be honest with what you want, I can't come close to
giving you a full refund. When the money is spent on gas and the cat, the money
is spent. I don't make any money off of this! Choose the right kitten. If you
are having trouble, tell me what you are looking for and I can point out some
that might be best for you. :)
